The following studies have been activated. If you like to participate to a specific study please send an email to the coordinator of the study. General criteria for authorship and study proposals are available here.

The rules for publishing data from dermoscopy photographs have changed (as of Feb 2009). To publish retrospective studies using images from patients you need the following requisites:

1. You have obtained verbal or written consent (depending upon the rules of your IRB/Ethics review board) for the use of the images that "were taken during routine patient care".

AND

1. You have an Institutional Review Board or Ethics Committee that has allowed the use of these images in studies

OR

2. You have an IRB waiver for the use of the images

OR

3. Your country does not require IRB review for such a collection of images.

If you are in the last category we will need to name the countries in the Methods section. All participants are encouraged to contact their IRB to confirm what they should be doing.
